Itinerary. 8 Days DAY 1 – DAR ES SALAAM - SELOUS.
DAR ES SALAAM – SELOUS (Selous is one of the wildest Parks in Africa).
Pick up in the morning from your hotel at 0645am and drive to Selous. Drop cook at the campsite and proceed with game drive at Mtemere area till sunset. (Picnic Lunch). Dinner and overnight; Mbega Tented Camp. Fully equipped (big like a room walk-in canvas) tents. DAY 2 – SELOUS – SELOUS
Early breakfast, depart for an adventure boat Safari in the mighty Rufiji River. You will see lots of wildlife along the river banks. The river is also home to a good number of huge crocs and hippos. Short rest after lunch. Depart for a walking safari assisted by an armed Park ranger. A lot of surprises await you! Walk behind an elephant herd. Learn to identify different spoors. Feel your adrenalin rise!!. Evening drive back to the camp. Dinner and overnight; Mbega Tented Camp DAY 3 – SELOUS – SELOUS
Breakfast; depart for a full day game drives. Visit Lake Tigalala Area with game drive en route. Search for the wild dogs and visit the Selous Grave. Picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight; Mbega Tented Camp .
DAY 4 – SELOUS – MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
Sunrise game drives starts at 0620am. Drive back to the camp by 1000am for brunch. Rest. Depart for Mikumi Park. Beautiful views of the Uluguru Mts. along the way. Evening free at the lodge. Dinner and overnight; Vuma Hill Tented Camp. DAY 5 – MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK – RUAHA PARK
Sunrise game drives starts at 0620am. Drive back to the lodge by 1100am for brunch. Rest. Depart for Ruaha Park in the Southern highlands. Beautiful views of the Rubeho and Udzungwa mountains along the route. Evening free at the lodge. Dinner and overnight; Ruaha River Lodge. DAY 6 – DAY 7; RUAHA – RUAHA PARK Two full days of 'Discover' Ruaha activities. There will be early morning game drives at sunrise and sunset game drives. You will do a guided walking safari along the river which attracts wild animals for water. Ruaha is home to several rare antelopes to include, the Roan, the lesser and greater Kudu, and the Sable. Dinner and overnight; Ruaha River Lodge. DAY 8 – RUAHA – DAR ES SALAAM OR ZANZIBAR. Easy day at the lodge. Watching animals down the river as they come to drink. Lunch. Drive to the airstrip for flight to Dar or Zanzibar or Early breakfast and drive back to Dar. |

Comfortable Wildlife adventure safaris Accommodation during this safari is in standard safari lodges. The lodges provide nice rooms with comfortable beds. Private shower and toilet. Sleeping arrangements can be in single or double/twin bed rooms. It's possible to put an extra bed for kid/s. The lodges are equipped with good restaurants which serve international cuisine. They also provide picnic lunch boxes for day long game drives.
